Fanfare is an Essex wedding and party band fronted by an experienced, soulful female singer, with a brilliant brass section to get your guests moving.
With years of experience at weddings, corporate events and private parties, the band brings versatile musicianship, an energetic performance and a collection of glowing client reviews.
Book the full six-piece line-up with trumpet and trombone, or choose a compact four-piece without the horns. An acoustic duo or trio can be booked separately or added for daytime music, including wedding drinks receptions.
Soul, disco and Motown are at the heart of Fanfare’s repertoire, alongside pop, rock, indie and country favourites. Themed 80s, 90s, Motown and country events can also be arranged.
The band provides PA and stage lighting, with complimentary playlist music between sets and an optional manned DJ booth. Their experience includes beautiful wedding venues across the UK and supporting Scouting For Girls.

What is the full line-up?
Female lead vocals, guitar and male vocals, bass guitar, drums, trumpet and trombone. A four-piece format without the horns and acoustic duo or trio options are also available.
How long does Fanfare play?
The standard booking includes 2 × 45-minute live sets. An extra set or 2 × 60 minutes can be discussed and agreed in advance.
When does the band arrive and finish?
The band usually arrives around two hours before the performance for setup and soundcheck. The standard finish is midnight. Later finishes carry an additional charge, confirmed in your quote.
How much space is recommended?
A performance area of around 6m × 4m is recommended for the full band. Please discuss smaller spaces and venue access requirements before booking.
Is PA, lighting and music between sets included?
Yes. Fanfare provides PA and stage lighting, plus complimentary playlist music during breaks. A manned DJ booth is available as an upgrade.
Can we book daytime acoustic music or a first dance?
Yes. Acoustic duo and trio formats can be booked separately or alongside the evening band for daytime music, ceremonies or drinks receptions. A live first-dance performance can also be arranged.
Where is the band based?
Fanfare is based in Colchester, Essex, and generally travels within around three hours of home. Longer journeys may be possible by agreement.
Can we add musicians or a themed set?
Additional musicians can be arranged by quote. The band can also offer 80s, 90s, Motown and country themes. Please discuss your plans when enquiring.
Does the band have insurance and PAT-tested equipment?
The band confirms full public liability insurance and PAT testing where required. Please share any venue documentation requirements before booking.
