Based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, Laura brings a personal touch to popular songs and timeless classics. Her acoustic arrangements span contemporary pop, R&B, folk, indie and rock, with favourites from the 90s, 00s and earlier decades.
Originally from Cumbria, Laura is an award-winning singer who trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts from 2009 to 2012. Her expressive voice has drawn comparisons with Eva Cassidy and Joni Mitchell.

What are the performance options?
Ceremony and drinks reception bookings include 2 × 45-minute sets. Full-day wedding performances cover the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast or cocktail hour and first dance, with up to 4 × 45-minute sets.
What is included in the ceremony performance?
Around 15 minutes of music as guests take their seats, followed by 4–5 songs during the ceremony, including the aisle entrance, signing and exit.
Can Laura learn our song or perform our first dance?
Yes. One specially learned song is included. Further songs are £35 per song, subject to suitability and preparation time. A live first dance can be arranged.
Where does Laura travel?
Laura is based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Her usual travel range is up to 160 miles, with UK-wide enquiries welcomed by agreement. Please share your venue so travel and availability can be confirmed.
What time does Laura arrive and how much space is needed?
Laura normally arrives one hour before performing and needs approximately 20 minutes for setup and soundcheck. Please allow a 2m × 2m performance area and suitable access.
Are PA, lighting and background music included?
Yes. Laura provides PA and stage lighting, with a Spotify background playlist available between sets. Equipment provision is agreed for your venue.
Can Laura perform without mains power?
A battery-powered amplifier is available by arrangement for locations without mains power. Laura performs amplified; unamplified bookings are not offered. Outdoor performances need suitable shelter and conditions.
What is the standard finish time?
Laura’s usual finish is 7.30pm. Later finishes can be agreed without an additional late-finish charge, subject to the booking schedule and availability.
Does Laura have insurance and PAT certification?
Laura has Musicians’ Union public liability insurance up to £3 million, and her equipment is PAT tested. Documentation can be supplied for your venue.
How far ahead can we book?
Last-minute enquiries and bookings one or two years in advance are welcomed, subject to availability. Please send your date so we can check.
