Roxa Damas is a DJ and live vocalist bringing soulful vocals and carefully curated music to weddings, private celebrations and hospitality events.
Moving between soulful and deep house, disco, R&B, Afrobeats, UK garage, Afrohouse, Amapiano and feel-good classics, Roxa shapes each set around your event and the people in the room.
Choose a DJ set, a live vocal performance or a combination of both. From the ceremony and drinks reception through to the final dance, she creates a soundtrack that feels personal to your celebration.

DETAILS.
Where is Roxa based, and where can she perform?
Roxa is based in Chelmsford, Essex and is available for UK-wide bookings and international destination events. Travel and any accommodation are agreed according to the location.
What is the line-up?
Roxa is a solo DJ and live vocalist. In DJ and vocal packages, live vocals are incorporated at agreed points. Additional musicians can be discussed and priced for a specific booking, subject to availability.
How long does Roxa perform?
DJ-only packages cover up to five hours for private events, or three or five hours for weddings. Live vocal and combined packages have their own durations, shown above. The exact set structure, vocal moments and breaks are agreed before booking.
What are the additional-time and late-finish fees?
Additional DJ time is £100 per hour for private events or £250 per hour for weddings. The standard finish is midnight, with a late finish advertised at £150 per extra hour. We will confirm which charges apply to your requested schedule in the final quote.
Are PA, equipment and lighting included?
Roxa provides her own PA, DJ and vocal equipment, and DJ booth. Dancefloor lighting is an optional add-on from £150–£300 depending on the setup. Your production requirements are confirmed before booking.
How much space and setup time are needed?
Please allow a minimum performance area of 2m × 2m and 60–90 minutes for setup and soundcheck. Arrival and access are coordinated with the venue in advance.
Can Roxa sing during the ceremony or drinks reception?
Yes. The Ceremony package includes your aisle entrance song and up to three additional live song performances. The Cocktail Edit covers up to two hours of drinks reception entertainment. Bespoke ceremony and daytime options can also be discussed.
Can we request a live first dance?
A live first dance is available by arrangement. A specially prepared song may incur an additional charge, agreed before booking.
Can we choose the music?
Yes. Tell us your preferred styles, favourite songs and the atmosphere you want. Roxa shapes the music around the event and the people in the room, with background and DJ music between live vocal sections as agreed.
Does Roxa have insurance and PAT certification?
Public liability insurance is in place. Equipment is PAT tested where required, and certificates can be supplied to the venue on request.
How far ahead should we book?
Availability is by request, Monday to Sunday. Ideally enquire at least two weeks before a private event and four weeks before a wedding. All dates remain subject to availability.
